A simple Scandinavian space has a neutral palette. It’s light and bright with a combination of modern, graphic art and cozy accents. A space filled with minimal accessories, each of them placed in a perfect spot and making everything look sophisticated.
To achieve this look I usually start by creating a base, a clear, light base. It’s followed by adding a few graphic elements, like a sharply shaped lamp and a square candleholder. But only black and white can look cold, uninviting, so adding soft elements is a must. Wood, sheep skins and textiles are great choices. I also like to add glass elements because they are light and have a huge impact without blocking the view. A wooden floor will also help in creating the balance and bind everything together.
