Chasing the morning light

The fall of the year is officially here. The season of apple pies and autumn treasures is slowly settling in. We are spoiled with unexpected beautiful days and the light is mesmerising… I find myself grabbing the camera more often than usual.

The plan for this morning was to have a nice coffee and go through next week’s agenda while listening to some soft music, but all these different shadows and reflections have distracted me… The morning light is truly magical and knows how to get my attention. The planing can definitely wait…

A beautiful Sunday to everyone!

  1. I have one of these coffee jars, they are so beautiful to look at and to use arent they?! Enjoy your Autumn, we are just heading into our spring, daylight saving started so the nights will be lighter for longer and it will be getting warmer here.

    1. I love my Chemex very much. I like the pretty look and I am pleased with the way my coffee turns out in it.
Autumn is my favourite season, but I can imagine how exciting it is for you to enter Spring now after the long winter months. Enjoy it!
Wish you a nice start of the new week and thank you for visiting!

  2. What a beautiful light! Love everything at your wonderful photos and it reminds me, that I have this candleholder…! I wish you a sunny and relaxing Sunday my dear friend! Hugs and kisses, Anne

    1. Thank you so much, my dear Anne! Always happy to see you here and to read your lovely comments.
This candleholder goes very well with the Chemex due to the leather details, isn’t it? Perfect for autumn…
Hope your day was a good one. The weather is truly amazing these days!
A good night to you and a great new week!

      Hugs,
      Natalia

    1. Thank you, Dan.
I am always trying to improve the quality of my photos, but when the light is so amazing, I feel I don’t need too many skills 🙂 The pictures turn out great without much effort.
Spent most of my time outside today, so now its time for the planning I was ignoring this morning 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

  3. Another beautiful post Natalia! These pictures would make a great still life for a painter. I would be very curious to see how they would capture that beautiful light casting shadows on your table. Truly superb technical photography on your part.

Have a great rest of evening…

    1. Thank you Jeni for such kind words. As I wrote in a comment above, with this kind of light you don’t need much skills. The shadows and reflections make magic. I feel like every time I look there is something else to capture, so I end up taking lots of photos 🙂
I am hoping for a blog post from you with all the beautiful doors and windows in Paris! Please think about it 🙂
Have a nice and relaxing evening…

      Hugs,
      Natalia
