A few minutes of sun

It looks like all I do is taking photos all day, but I just can’t get enough of these sunny autumn moments… This time the sun caught me with a very crowded table. So many things, but they all looked so good together in this light that I had to grab the camera right away.

I love this magnolia branch and I am not even sure it’s still alive… I got it in bloom from a dear colleague this spring and when the flowers were gone I thought it is just too beautiful to through it away, so now I move it around my home… And then the chestnuts… I have lots of them. They are a must for me when autumn arrives, treasured childhood memories… And, of course, the usual things on my table, candles, mugs, wooden spoons, coffee and bottles with water… Messy, but still pretty, isn’t it?

By the time I managed to write this post the sun was long gone. Now its raining quietly, so I get to enjoy these pictures even more, being happy that I’ve captured the moment.

A nice and cozy autumn afternoon to all of you!

  1. I love these chestnuts! My grandmother had them in the kitchen much of the year when I was a boy, back in Central Asia. Kudos on the stoneware too, my friend!

    1. Thanks Alex! We used to make little animals out of chestnuts and toothpicks when we were kids and we were always looking for the most beautiful ones. Maybe I should write a blogpost about that and share some pics 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your day and thank you for stoping by.

      1. You must! I would love to see and read it! I’m afraid my boyhood DIY toys were a bit more dangerous lol

  2. Wonderful autumn mood on your photos! Great shots with this stunning light…
