Meet Jeanett and her beautiful home

Photo @wellendorfs

I am so excited about my next guest for the IG Homes category! Her name is Jeanett and she is the wonderful lady behind @wellendorfs.

There are so many beautiful homes out there and it’s not easy to stand out or to create a unique home. Here is the proof that some people just know how to do it! Apart from the great architecture of this space, the colour palette, the right tones, the amazing light and the styling, every detail is brought to perfection… And when everything looks so effortless you know the owners got it right.

So let’s find out more about who is living in this amazing home!

3. What made you start your IG account?
Actually my friend introduced me and at first it wasn’t interesting for me, but after a while I slowly discovered, how I could inspire others with my passion for architecture and interior and how others could inspire me.

Yes, I really do! Of course I don´t know them IRL, but I have some very engaged followers who write and comment a lot on my pictures. I do my best to respond!

5. Do you have a favourite piece in your home at the moment? Does it have a story that you can share with us?
Yes I have a little man made out of two stones and some painting. My oldest daughter made him/her and it´s very creative and sweet. I also have a beautiful bracelet from my sister and some earrings from my husband. They all mean something special. I also have some Wegner pieces in my home and I love the design, and could wish for many more 🙂

6. Where do you find your inspiration?
I find most of my inspiration in real life. I love the colours you see in the nature – My favourite place is in a Danish beech forest. It tells the seasons change and these colours inspire me the most. I also love to read interior magazines and I also find inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram.

7. Do you think you have a styling addiction? If yes, is this affecting the people around you? 🙂
Hmm, I wouldn’t say styling addiction, but some people might disagree with me on that 😉 I love to create some places where you feel relaxed and happy, and perhaps that can be an addiction too!? I hope it affects people in a good way though!

Perhaps a big bookcase in oak 😉

9. “Less is more” or “More is more”?
I would say, “less is more”, if it’s the right materials, they can fill up a whole room with their presence.

12. Name one thing you were scared to do, but you did it anyway.
I’m afraid of heights, but I have climbed in 10-15 meters trees. That was pretty scary, but pretty cool at the same time.

    1. My dear Jeanett,
Thank you so much for your kind words and mostly thank you for accepting to be part of my “IG Homes” category. It was a pleasure to do this interview with you and so nice to see your photos in a bigger format than on IG. Everyone loves your home and I am so happy I was able to share more about you as well.
Enjoy the rest of your evening and looking forward to welcome you in the blog world soon!

      Hugs,
      Natalia

  2. Again such a beautiful home with it’s own personality. Love to see the different styles you present on your blog, Natalia.

    Greetings from Germany, Alexandra

    1. Thank you Alexandra,
Jeanett has an amazing home and I could move in tomorrow, without changing anything. As I wrote in the post, some people just know how to do it right 🙂 I knew all of you will love this space very much.
Thanks again for visiting and wish you a great new week tomorrow.

      Natalia xx

    1. Yes, it is a stunning home indeed!
I am glad you like it and thank you for stopping by 🙂
Wish you a wonderful October and hope you will visit again 🙂

  3. Another well done blog post and a beautiful home. Are these your pictures Natalia or does the homeowner send those to you?
and Jeanette, you have a beautiful home. Well done.

    1. Thank you Dan!
The homes I am sharing are not from Sweden (in this particular case, Denmark), so it would be a bit difficult for me to take the photos myself (what a nice dream though). The owners are sending me the photos, I select them and try to make them look at their best. This home is very inspiring to me, so I really wanted to share it will all my followers… I am glad so many people liked it.
Enjoy the rest of your day and thank you for your comment!

  4. Oh..my dose of relaxation and wellbeing:) I enjoyed it very much again. Thanks for those pleasant moments Naty. Jeanett is amazing and has a truly beautiful home full of wonderful pieces that one can admire. But it’s not just about equipment, it’s also about the overall philosophy which fills her living where everything makes sense. And I have to say that quality of her photos is great – it all works perfectly together. Greetings to both of you, thank you for nice time spend with you and wish you beautiful good night✨

    1. My dear friend,
I am so happy you liked this last post. You were the first one I dared to ask to try this interview and look how many I did so far 🙂 I find so much inspiration in all these homes and for sure people will appreciate the pictures even more if they know a little bit more about the person behind them. And I like how you always say that my posts are relaxing to you 🙂 it means a lot to me! Hope I will be able to write many more 🙂
Wish you a wonderful afternoon, my dear Klara and thank you for always leaving such nice comments.

      Hugs,
      Natalia

  5. Jeanett’s home has great flow with the muted colors. I think muted colors are best because it allows the inhabitants to pop with splashes of flowers and artwork if they so prefer.

I agree with what she said about a particular object being able to fill a room with its presence rather than its dimension. That idea is lost on too many people, which is how someone ends up with an ugly, bulky sofa sectional that overwhelms the balance between space and objects in it.

Finally, I love the dining chairs! I saw almost an exact replica of these at West Elm, here in Charlotte, and would love to have one as an accent chair to randomly sit and ready books and magazines…all in our soon-to-be-completed home of course 🙂

    Your friend in NC,
    Alex

    1. Thank you, Alex,
I know now how much effort you put in keeping your living space as simple as possible. Scandinavian style is quite minimalistic, but still very warm and welcoming. You can feel that in Jeanett’s home where everything looks inviting and effortless, using only very few furniture items. These dining chairs are on my wish list as well and I am thinking to get myself a nice Christmas present 🙂 They are truly beautiful.
I am happy you are now regularly visiting my blog and looking forward to see how will you decorate your new home!

      Natalia
